I guess this "loophole" is about magazines. The claim is that pre 94 standard cap mags are still legal.
Such idiocy.

Well what was not said today was as important as what was said. Governor hokey called on the federal government to enact ny style gun control laws. President bidet said he can’t do much and that congress has to pass gun control but that he doesn’t see it happening. So essentially a big game of pass the buck. The more this shooting stays in the news the more I see people asking why if this asshat was made known to NYS government then why did NYS government fail to act? Not exactly a good look for the current NYS administration. Today seemed liked they paid enough lip service to their gun control voting base yet in actuality like they want it to disappear from the news. Right now is the best chance state and feds have of passing any gun control. The longer they wait the tougher it gets. The fact that nothing happened yesterday or today appears like they are missing their opportunity.

I almost hope they go to a national 10 round limit. The options of guns readily available would increase tenfold. Although my bank account wouldn’t appreciate it
I have said it many times here on this forum and I will use this thread as an opportunity to say it once more time....
Thank you for the Demoncrats and the Libtards.
Stop talking about what you are going to do and do it.
Enact more laws. Screw the people more and more. Take more away from them. Enslave more of the Left by destroying the Right.
Make November an easier win for the good people that are still left in this shithole of a State.
Shit or get off the pot. Either way, shut the hell up.

Apparently they are making our illegal pre ban mags illegal.

I hope they do so more gun owners feel the pain. Maybe then they will act/vote instead of bleating "just move to a free State".....
“ now with even more illegal ! “
When you finally realize all these "Laws" are for self aggrandizement the idiocy starts to make sense; you see, these people are power hungry, they want to be re-elected or promoted in their little fiefdom, and submitting Bills with their names attached gives them the feeling of a big swinging dick.....Momma always warned us "those that cry the most, do the least." and she was right. Are these assholes really so inept they don't even know what rights they have already verbotten ?

So they're going to push legislation that will in no way change anything that happened, nor would have prevented what happened. Got it.

It's all lip service to get them re-elected. "I tried doing this, but those other guys stopped me. Vote them out so I can REALLY do it this time." "Oh, there are still too many bad guys voting it down, you need to vote them out too so NOW I can do it."

New York also has what’s known as a red flag law, which allows a judge to issue an order to confiscate the weapons of a person who is deemed a threat to themselves or others.
So he threatened to shoot up a high school..Was brought in by the State police for questioning..... Why was he able to pass a NICS check..
Posting all kinds of things on line ...Did they never keep track of his postings ?...almost like we have a nut case ..lets turn him loose ....to fulfill his fantasy ....If I threatened my girlfriend ....I am certain I would be flagged at the next NICS check....

She's going after AOWs. Microstamping is coming back. More centralization of surveillance and intel around the State Police. Twiddling with red flag laws. These are all things that have been thrown around for a while. There may be enough political capital in the NYS legislature to get them passed now.

Ever notice how they always tell us they have this big, comprehensive Plan to solve all our woes, yet it never materializes?
