Simply put they can’t cover it up anymore and if they keep lying they will have to keep him on the ticket. If they pivot now they can instill someone else but it won’t look good. They have said in the past republicans cut tapes deceptively but this was Joe Biden being senile on live TV for 1.5 hours and there is no way to hide it.

They will replace him with either Mike Obama or Hillary. Both well known nationally and all the dems will rally behind Obama. They get him/her on the ticket and she has a good chance of beating Trump, if they off Trump she will def be the next POTUS. Scary times ahead.
One thing I caught that my bullshit detector immediately went off on, was I think Biden had a Freudian slip and let the cat out of the bag on something he shouldn't have.
In his mumbling bullshit he started blabbing about Trump's legal troubles being far from over and "I know" he has serious problems coming up shortly. Or something similar to that effect. Brandon totally spilled the beans that they are going to law-fare try to jail trump or prevent him from being able to run somehow. It was pretty sinister I think what he accidentally implied. Biden realized he was saying things he shouldn't and tried to change the discussion.
Just my take on the situation and then how I think Biden realized what he said and that he shouldn't have said it and then tried to pivot the answer to something else.

I still do not believe that the Deep State will let Trump win. They have too much at risk.
They will stop him using whatever means they deem necessary. And, the more desperate they get, the more dangerous they become.
There are all kinds of plans. The real test is the ability to execute any one of them. If Joe and Lady Macbeth (jill) refuse to go, there is going to be trouble. If the Dems invoke the 25th amendment it will take weeks to actually implement. If Kamala isn't selected as the obvious successor there will be trouble.
I personally am looking forward to a complete and total shit show at the convention where the backstage infighting breaks out into the open. Bonus points if Palestine protests break through into the convention hall. It couldn't happen to a more deserving bunch of criminals and slimeballs.
