Secret Service agent fired on suspect at Trump golf course attempting to assassinate former president

Donald Trump was playing golf just 300-500 yards away from the incident where a Secret Service agent fired at a man who’d pushed the barrel of an AK-47 rifle through the property’s fence

Oh good, an AK this time. How long before we find out its a crazed "Republican". I am curious what "in the vicinity" really means. Is that 100 yards or 1 mile?

“>>@JohnMillerCNN : All this info is preliminary. But “in the area of the shooting, sources say they recovered a backpack and a semi-automatic rifle… and a GoPro camera.” The camera suggests “that this individual may have wanted to record himself in the first person.””

So that’s 2-3 assassination attempts now and when will the left say their inflammatory remarks are to blame for this? Oh wait that’s right they can say or do as they please and get away with it.

[Dr. Evil]

How long until the left blames Trump? How long until the left says Trump set this up to garner votes? How long until some on the left put in writing they are upset it wasn't accomplished this time?

Officials now report that a Secret Service agent opened fire on an armed suspect while Trump was golfing, during which President Trump was tackled by Secret Service agents on the fifth hole amid shots being fired at him. Police later discovered a backpack containing an AK-47 and a GoPro camera near Trump’s Florida golf course. The suspect fled in a car but was later detained in a neighboring county.

Sheriff says they don’t provide the same security as they would for a sitting president? I agree…
Trump takes security to a whole new level. Higher than the level of any sitting president.
It’s time to higher the bar folks. They ain’t never seen anything like him, and probably never will again. MEGA MAGA!!

It's just been revealed that Trump's 2nd attempted assassinator, Ryan Routh, wasn't only a Trump hater & Ukraine lover, he was also a consistent donor to the Democrat party

According to FEC data, he made more than 20 individual contributions to Democrats during the 2020 election.

Diversity in action: Future secret service agents

An 03 Springfield,a gullie suit, and a little common sense and this would have been a different story.

If somebody from the right did it, they would still be wondering where the shots came from.

A Secret Service agent first spotted the suspect as he stuck the barrel of his rifle through a chain link fence on the outskirts of Trump International Golf Course West Palm Beach South. The agent, who was a golf hole ahead of Trump, opened fire on the suspect — who then fled the scene.

You would think the shooter would have observed his area.
