Went to my clubs Gun Raffle. Last gun of the night. Didn't win squat. Feeling low.
Ruger Mini 14 in .556 Stainless / composite.
Something that was on my bucket list.
Fingers crossed.

And the winner is:

A nice lady at my table has her name called as the winner.
As she is getting up to claim her prize I half heartily asked her if she wanted to sell it.
To my surprise she said yes, so here is is. $625.00 out the door.

I had the same gun and sold it to buy a AR, the next day Newtown happened and the price happened and didn't buy the ar. I bought a revolver instead.
Should of kept it.

Have fun with it. The ammo is cheap enough.

That's pretty cool. I know how you feel as a raffle loser, lol (no disrespect meant). I never win anything and it has turned into a vicious circle of "I don't win ever (when I do enter), so I'm not entering."

OMG What a deal!!!!! I always wanted a Ruger Mini 14. I heard those are much more reliable than the AR15 platform. Let me know how it shoots!
