We had record turnout for early voting and I can tell you my polling place was the busiest I’ve ever seen it.
Trump was dumb. It was clear the cost of living was on the ballot in 2024 and 2026. Orange war, gas, and food prices crushed us. Trump saying dumb things don’t help.

Our only hope is to recapture the populist middle and guide them toward a more conservative, traditional American values platform. If we don't, they will continue to be seduced by socialist fantasies. This isn't about whether @DoD1776 or @tirwin1 is at fault - neither of them are. Most of us here want this country to move in the same basic direction. We're the ~40% who voted for Blakeman and we're not enough by ourselves.

- Not how they plan on getting the cost of housing down.

That seems to be what they'll do with their victory. They have no concern about getting the economy on track or anything like that. Only get Trump.

Least shocking thing ever. The midterms are almost always a referendum on the president. Trump is very unpopular. "War" when he promised no wars. Fuel prices are at near all time highs. The economy for normal people is in the shitter. Inflation rising. I put war in quotes because it's not really a war as authorized by congress, it's military action solely at the discretion of Trump.
