Flash compressor?

Yeah, you know. It "compresses" the flash into a deadly laser ray that follows directly behind the bullet to detonate just after the bullet penetrates to vaporize the harmless and innocent target.....or so I've read.

There's a member on here who's brother had a pure Unsafe Act arrest for a Ruger 10/22 with a thumbhole stock despite the Sheriff's and DA's saying that they are against the Unsafe Act.

Was there any other reason the troopers were inventorying this guys rifle at 8 am?
That article is shit. Its no wonder the author didn't want to attach his or her name to it.

From the article.
"assault-style rifle which was not complaint with state law and had the following features: a detachable magazine, a pistol grip, collapsible stock and a flash compressor."
flash compressor... LOL
assault-style rifle... FACEPALM
Anyways, This rifle would of been non compliant in NYS even before Cuomo's NY UNSAFE Act.
Because of the collapsible stock and also the flash suppressor.
Just Sayin'
Either way, It sucks.

Yeah, on semi auto rifles and shotguns they had to be pinned even before Cuomo's NY UNSAFE Act.

But, As long as a gun isn't a semi auto a unpinned collapsible stock is good to go.
Unpinned collapsible stocks are legal on pump action shotguns etc.
I have one on one of my pump shotguns and also my crossbow for an example.

Could be lots of reasons. My friend's neighbor in CT had his wife call the police because he flipped out and starting breaking things after he found out that his wife was buying weed for his teenage daughter. It wasn't even her daughter. Then when they arrived and was talking to him outside she opened the safe for the other cops inside.

Never let LE into your place if they don't have warrant.
If you "choose" to even talk to them do it outside.
I wouldn't talk to them until I have contacted my lawyer.
Just a friendly reminder.
Know your rights and have a lawyer's phone number.

So very important PSA!
People talk their Rights all of the time, but very few actually know them.

I always look for the criminal intent when I read these articles. NY has become so Ayn Randish with the criminalization of people who were just common citizens 5 years ago. It's like Germany 1935 again.

This article is SO devoid of any useful information that its not even worth the bandwidth we just used to read it. What a waste.

From the comments, " Hmm, maybe someone has created a device that enhances the flash rather than suppresses it? As I recall from an episode of The Simpsons, Moe has a silencer and a loudener. Might work the same for flash too "

Granted we don't know what trigger the police going to his house.
Where's th NRA. NYSRPA. Putting money and lawyers behind these cases. The state is going to offer cushy plea deals and threats of long sentences if you fight it, they know if it goes to the Supreme Court the safe act is gone. They won't make it to higher courts without someone pushing. It is illegal act.
