Well, I cant say I condone shooting through a windowless door without being able to see whats behind it. Nor would I condone shooting at fleeing perps in a residential neighborhood with no regard for your neighbors. Both actions are very reckless and make gun owners look bad.

Not quite that simple. The devices are monitored remotely and take photos. Theyre there as a "last chance" type thing, you get caught tampering with them and you're in way more trouble.
