This is the camo pattern that I bought from Cabela’s years ago and still use. It’s a wider open pattern that does an excellent job of breaking up my body outline when in the bush. It’s called Outfitters camo pattern.
True, All of my S&W magnums except for one have the full under lug. It does help to tame the full power magnum loads. I have a 6” full under lug model 586 in .357 and it tames it to the point that it feels like hot .38’s.

There were further ( minor ) improvements made to the -3 & -4 iterations. After the -4 S&W discontinued the forged and hand fitted triggers and hammers in favor of the newer production MIM parts.

Good idea. I’ve been using cattle panel fencing as a trellis for years now. We don’t grow Any vining plants on the ground. All of our squash,( 3 types ) cucumbers, raspberries and small musk melons are grown on a cattle panel trellis.
