Just an update. I contacted glock directly. This was the response:
"Good afternoon,
Unfortunately we do not have any information on future models at this time. Please feel free to contact us at a later date if you would like.

Madison county judge reviews the amendments. I'll have to call down there and ask exactly what information they need. But I do believe last time I bought a pistol, barrel length was a requirement
Yes, I've had my permit for about 5 years now. Just wondering about issues with my local office. I believe they need the caliber to be specified(no multi-cal) and iirc they also need the barrel length.
Not sure if this would get more attention here or in the pistol sub, due to the AR platform. I am thinking about building an AR pistol to have put on my permit in Madison County. AX Tactical said they would fix the mag for me when I buy the lower. Has anyone in Madison County had the experience...
