China had a problem with scammers in Myanmar kidnapping Chinese citizens, enslaving them, and putting them to work in telecommunications scams. The scammers stole billions while torturing and killing their slave workers.

China response? Grabs the ringleaders and shoots them all.

If so I can get behind it. These phone scammers are scum and have no place in a respectable society.

Ya know.... There was a time when I would have laughed at your comment or been disgusted by it.

I'm not so sure anymore.

I'm starting to wonder if China cares more about the good of their citizens than we do.

Is our government really that different from theirs? China doesn't have a lot of the problems we have. They have different problems, but they also seem to handle some problems better than we do.
