Petition to Ban Hunting and Fishing Being Pushed in Oregon​

A petition to ban hunting and fishing is being pushed in Oregon in the hopes that it may make it to the ballot this November.

KOIN reported that the petition seeks to pass the People for the Elimination of Animal Cruelty Exemptions (PEACE) Act.

The Act “would change the current Oregon animal cruelty laws, which currently protect pets such as dogs and cats, and would expand coverage to wild animals, livestock and animals used in research.”

This will not pass in Oregon. Outside of a few liberal areas Oregon is big time hunting and fishing country. They make a fortune off this as well.

Baltimore to Use Sharpshooters with Night Vision to Purge Deer​

The Baltimore Banner reported, “Starting in mid-March, trained sharpshooters will enter these three parks after dark with silenced weapons and night vision gear, conducting shoot-to-kill operations.”
The sharpshooters will be affiliated with the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and will carry out the purge in designated parks, including Druid Hill Park, Gwynns Falls/Leakin Park, and Herring Run Park.

Baltimore to Use Sharpshooters with Night Vision to Purge Deer

Sharpshooters outfitted with night vision will be enlisted to purge hundreds of deer from Baltimore, Maryland, city parks.
