Utah Sen. Mike Lee has unveiled a new bill that would allow individuals who can lawfully possess a firearm to carry a handgun in all 50 states, without the need for a state-issued permission slip.

Lee’s legislation, which he plans to introduce Thursday, would eliminate concealed carry permit requirements nationwide for eligible U.S. citizens — those already legally allowed to own a firearm.

In addition to negating the need for state-issued concealed carry licenses in the 21 states where permitless carry is not yet in effect, Lee's bill would also severely limit states' ability to establish "gun-free zones."

Hochul the Horrible signed the Concealed Carry Improvement Act (CCIA)
And so far, she has gotten away with it.

Nothing will improve until politicians are actually punished for violating people's rights.

Somehow they managed to convince the public that they have immunity for "official acts".

Well, I say violating people's rights is not part of your official duty, so there's no immunity.

SAFE alone should have generated several million lawsuits against every legislator who voted for it, and every official who participated in enforcing it.

Does anyone here know that state reciprocity laws to allow carry across state lines have been being proposed sinse the 1970s?
Yep, every so often a legislator "unveils a bill".....for over 50 years.
Also, sinse at least the early 1990s many politicians have "unveiled a bill" to end carry permits nationwide.......almost 40 years.
Over that time hundreds of politicians have "unveiled a bill" for ANTI gun laws, PASSING thousands of new anti gun laws nationally and locally.
Last I knew, about 6% of "unveiled bills" are actually passed. 94% die along the way. We all know that every 2 years politicians looking for a win, "unveil bills" they know have no teeth, just to garner votes.
If any of you honestly believe that elimination of carry permits, national reciprocity, or ending rifle bans are going to happen in our lifetime, I wanna smoke what you got!

There are two options......follow the rules, or disobey.

Concealed carry, is now normal in NYS, what's the beef?

The NYS permit law now works against Jihadis, Trans, Antifa, BLM, anti ICE maniacs/communists/ greenies, and others who do not have a clue about how gun stores and 4473's work either...................

We are safer, due to the SAFE ACT, that was ironically written to hurt Whites..............now protects the unarmed white population, from the above virtual Iranians, and animals.

Lee is grandstanding..................Bruen allowed some licensing.

And whats the beef? Ill start with even needing a permission slip to exercise my rights. Next would be expensive training required, having to take time off of work to have a face to face with some black robed bureaucrat to see if Im a good enough person for my permission slip. Cant have ammo shipped to my house and now need to pay an extra fee along with gas, and wear and tear on my vehicle to go to a gun shop for yet another bgc just to get ammo. Restrictions on what I can own, restrictions on capacity, restriction on where are when you can carry or face felony charges. Thats just getting started on what my beef is.

Your position may be the law, but only because NY courts are corrupted by the anti gun lobby. Just because i follow the law doesnt mean i find it acceptable.

Exactly how are we safer because they passed laws that ban common rifles and magazines, made it illegal to build something in my workshop that is legal for someone on the other side of an invisible line in another State to build, prevent me from ordering a legal product and having it shipped to my house, and having the State collect and store every bit of information about my activities they can ? Not to mention the dozens of other items in the NYSAFE and CCIA acts that either infringe on my rights or spy on me without probable cause, reasonable suspicion, or a warrant.

I know, you're a special, all knowing LEO that fully believes that fishing is a legitamite passtime whenever you encounter anyone that doesn't have a badge. That's exactly why people don't like or trust cops.

You just keep drinking that koolaid that allows you to believe the police state is so much better than freedom.
