Felon illegally carrying an illegal gun and doing illegal shit with it. The NY system works so well.
I believe the Evolv system is a hybrid of cameras and metal detectors. Small pistol is not out of the realm of possibility that it could sneak through.
Some of this AI camera shit is terrible. I did a demo on a camera based system that was suppose to be the best thing since Skippy on Wonderbread. I had one of my guys walk past two cameras with a compact pistol in his hand but gripping it through the middle, and the system never alerted. I thought the two guys giving the demo where going to stroke out at the conference room table watching that unfold.

Having recently been to that hospital, and being singled out for the Swiss Army cuticle knife/scissors piece in my pocket, how the hell did someone manage to get an entire gun through security?

I carry a Swiss Army Knife and occasionally forget to leave it in the Car: fill out this duplicate form and they'll bag it, and you can pick it up on the way out...Gun? Yea, that's a whole other issue...Up until about 2018 when I stopped taking Call (EMS) and certainly before the CCIA several of us carried concealed while on Duty, including into the Hospital(s) and it wasn't an issue....always figured it was asinine to be less concerned about someone committing Murder/Assault than about someone being "uncomfortable" with a person legally carrying a handgun.
