Thank heavens there was a civilian armed with a suppressed FN 5.7 handgun with 20 round mags who was able to engage the active shooter and help to save countless lives. Sure looks like standard capacity mags and suppressors are in common use.
Bruh was a giga Chad edc-ing a suppressed 5.7 with the willingness to use it at great personal peril, that's wild in NY he would be behind bars.
Talk about the right guy at the right place. He clearly saved many lives.

When gunshots rang out at a Twin Falls In-N-Out, this Idaho man shot back
Jordan Salinas and his girlfriend had planned a quiet Saturday, starting with horseback riding in Hagerman, safely out of cellphone range. They’d stop for lunch in Twin Falls, he thought, then hit the highway west. All was going according to plan; Salinas pulled into the In-N-Out Burger off of Blue Lakes Boulevard around 2:30 p.m. Chaos followed as he saw scores of people fleeing through the doors. He figured it was a kitchen fire. And then he heard the “pop-pop-pop” of gunfire.
Salinas reached for his shoulder holster and drew an FN Five-Seven — a semi-automatic pistol with a suppressor fixed to the barrel. He worked through the framework he’d practiced for years. Salinas is a healthcare worker, the full-time caregiver of his wheelchair-bound brother. He began training seriously after a 2021 shooting at the Boise Towne Square mall killed two people and injured several more. Gunmen, he said, went after “soft targets.” A person in a wheelchair — and the aide at his side — would be as soft as they come, he reasoned.

From the reports this business just opened up. When Crispy Cream opened up around the country lines were unreal I believe most eating places can seat over 100 with no trouble .
He certainly helped.
He may have hit the gunman, maybe not. He absolutely discouraged the gunman from continuing his rampage and forced him to retreat where it appears he eventually offed himself.
Without him there it could have been significantly worse.

I have been enamored with those for years but they're just not practical in NY.
As was stated, this incident is absolutely the best justification we've had in years in favor of citizens being able to be trained and carry with the fun toys of standard capacity mags (in this case probably 20+ rounds) and a suppressor

A supressed 5.7 carry gun is pretty rare. I would have suspected a Glock might be encountered most of the time.
