Legal in NY?

Of course not. Nothing is legal in NY

Although I do have a trigger pack that will fix the magazine meaning you can get all the evil features your heart desires.

The barrel is threaded for a flash suppressor and there is a bayonet lug on the M14. I doubt they will sell a NY legal version.

They won't sell one directly, but you could certainly have one modified.

I’m curious how they got permission to sell guns that used to be full auto. I’m pretty sure the atf has always taken the stance “once a full auto reciever always a full auto reciever”.

The same way they can get away with bypassing an FFL for an interstate sale.

They are the federal government. Lots of rules just don't apply to them.

If they want a special "this is demilled to semi" exception, they can get it.

They still conduct a full NICS check, but Congress exempted them from the requirements typically associated with being a FFL/Dealer.
Perhaps by the next time I'm in Anniston, they'll be available for pick up....down side is 10% Sales Tax if you take possession there. if you have it Shipped to your Home (or in the case of NY, sent to a 01 FFL) is a LOT cheaper than getting it there. My FFL has an Alabama Address, so fuck New York and their invalidation of a Federal Licenses.
