When you have a corporation giving kickbacks to our policians to rezone that's corruption.

Zoning is inherently illegitimate.

The corruption around it is irrelevant, and inevitable.

The government shouldn't be telling anyone what solar they can build at all. The fact that it takes bribes to do it just makes that worse.

You should be fighting the corruption, not the corporation that's being shaken down.

So the land owner will get to build their solar, and they'll be refunded for all the hassle the zoning put them through ?

Because that's what the corruption is.

"pay us if you want to put solar on your field" is graft, plain and simple.

denying the solar because they didn't pay enough is *not* the just solution.

Zoning is inherently a collectivist authoritarian concept. "It's your property, but we want to decide what you can do with it".

Don't get me started. I was sitting on millions in gas rights, and was a member of the steering committee for our local area. Best offer was $6500/acre and 25% royalties. Would have made bank even if they never drilled, and would have retired if they did. But FUAC decided he wasn't getting enough kickback, so I got nothing.

I sold that property for $365k. With millions in mineral rights that will never be realized.

A world famous seal on the Candace Owens show. Lol. I wonder if he thinks the world is flat? Would his opinion on the shooting no longer be valid to you if he thinks the world isn't flat?

Interesting take...

"Lawyers for the man charged with killing conservative activist Charlie Kirk say he shouldn’t be eligible for the death penalty because the shooter “hit the intended target” during the assassination last year at a Utah event attended by thousands of people.

Defendant Tyler Robinson’s attorneys say prosecutors have not proven that others who attended Kirk’s event at Utah Valley University on Sept. 10 were endangered by the shooting — a potentially aggravating factor under state law that would make it a capital crime."

Defense in Charlie Kirk’s killing says shooter hit the ‘intended target,’ didn’t endanger others

Tyler Robinson’s defense attorneys previously tried to get the death penalty taken off the table after prosecutors were found to be in contempt of court for talking about the case to the media.

Just wanted to pop in and say I do not care that he was killed, not do I care who did it or why they did it.

Affects my life not in the least bit.

Kirk was a good man , trying to do the right thing. He would go on Campus and try to explain to these kids that what they're being taught is wrong through debate . He was gaining political power as a leader. He began talking about ""things" he should not have been talking about . Pissed off some people for sure .

Well, it does affect your life GOP, and mine, and everyone else's. To what degree and is it positive or negative effect are the questions that should arise.
Keep popping though, we need your input.

I can do nothing but laugh when I hear he would have been President. slim to know chance, I am glad we will not find out. He would not have been a good leader to the people.

I think it does, don't you think there are major issues if a prominent American citizen, political activist was assassinated by either elements of the US government or foreign intelligence agency? That would be pretty bombastic if either were true.

Well, it is not true. He was killed by a guy that did not care for him. That simple.
