What is a good carry holster for a Colt 1911? I've always had one for home and range practice but never carried it. of course it has to be concealed, well in the nice weather that may not be possible. heck with my physicality even my pocked knife sticks out, hah!

There were multiple options for standard frame 1911s at good old Cabela's if you're near it. I had trouble finding one for the Emissary because of the square trigger gaurd and rail. Found the Galco on Midway

The holster is only part of the equation. OWB conceal is part of the issue. COB/IWB reverse woks well even with full size 1911’s. I have some examples I can share if interested

If OWB is you’re set on OWB horizontal COB “can” work.
