Lot's of "daily drivers" still for sale out in the mid-west and South, just have to be willing to go find one, bring it back, and repair whatever is wrong; I bought a '95 F250 out of Florida very reasonably, drove it home, and over the net few months tuned/repaired/replaced anything that was suspect...It's bug-out worthy today and DOES NOT get driven in the Winter except in an emergency even though it has fresh undercoating all over it.If you have a mechanic you trust ask him about inspection guidance. It’s not a secret it’s policy. Get rid of the vehicles using gas and no navigation systems.
Correct, its very black and whiteIf you have a mechanic you trust ask him about inspection guidance. It’s not a secret it’s policy.
$50/year in fluid film. Keeps 90%+ of it away.NY has the perfect playbook for limiting older vehicles. Douse the road with corrosive materials so daily driving anything 15+ years old is nearly impossible and regulate that with annual safety inspections. The extreme minority that have seasonal older cars are not worth further cali style legislation.
