do it, i have literally zero experience building and just went for it and had no problems at all. all i needed was a small hammer, spliers, a clamp, punch, table to work on and youtube lol
just checked their website, they definitely updated that since I bought their compmag, it wasnt there when i ordered, didnt even have a NY compliant and CA compliant versions. it was just 1 version.
i built one of my ars using the compmag, really cool concept. only problem with that is shooting bench is a pain in the arse (mag keeps hitting the bench unless you have a really high rest). i ended up selling mine.
