I finally have time to reply to you. I agree the 8" inst ideal. I'm hoping to add a second course of sides next year. At this point I'm just trying to get something going. I haven't started a compost yet. The big reason is I don't know how I'm going to critter prof it. I have a very active fox...
Well my raised beds are being built so I guess I will be gardening this year after all. I bought the set of plans I linked above. My father wanted a rainy day project so he build 4 of the forms. Hopefully this weekend or early next week he will be pouring them. This leads into some questions I...
Dad is building the forms as I type this. It will interesting how it goes. Hes been working with wood his entire life, but has lost the attention to detail I prefer. So i will be very curious how it works out too.
I got the stuff to start finishing my second floor of my house. Also stuff to make those concrete raised garden beds. Now all I have to do is shake this "essential" thing.
I like the idea of concrete hopefully they will last a very long time. I also like the modularity. You can start with 1 course high then build your soil up to another coarse as you go. I will try to post a build thread as we go. Everything is on hold until syrup season is done.
Me and my father plan on making a bunch of these. His raised beds need to be rebuilt. My new house hasn't really established a garden yet. I dont if I will do anything other than railing planters this year.
Oh it is easier and faster for sure, there is no argument from me. I was talking about when my focus goes to the front sight rather than the target. And because of this my reaction to the dot isn't nearly as fast.
My biggest problem was where to focus my eyes. Because I'm a relativity new pistol shooter I have been meticulous about focusing on the front sight post. I have found when running a red dot it better to focus on the target rather than up close. I doesn't sound like a big deal but when I was...
Yup they are using ancient treatment technology and its catching up with them. They need to modernize those facilities and expand them. The cost would minuscule compared to the fines and trucking expenses. They just want to put a hello kitty band-aid on a sucking chest wound.
For dies almost all manufactures dies are interchangeable to most presses. The one exception seems to be one model of dillon. With that said I use RCBS dies and I like them. Is there better out there.... yes..... maybe. All of the main manufactures dies or of good quality, so stick with...
What I don't get about the whole deal is, how is it not cheaper to build a waste management facility on the island instead. To truck any sort of real volume your talking in the 100 million a year realm. Not only that I'm pretty sure there is federal regulations that don't allow for the open air...
Does Sig use a beveled dove tail? So you can only push it in or remove it, in one direction? Have you tried pushing from the other side? Just spit-balling here no experience with them.
I've shot probably 20+ with both calibers. Without going into the long story of why I went to a 20ga here are my quick observations.
12ga- used the old rifled slugs(most people consider junk ammo). I can tell you I almost never had to track a deer when shot with one.
20ga- I used lightfield...
I like car wash with wax in it with a sprinkle of lemi shine.
I did buy some of this stuff. I only used it once but with good results. Until I use it more I can't say if its worth the purchase or not.

I use the first generation one. It's small but does the trick. I usually have to run it through multiple cycles, because the timer is too short. IDK if they have fixed that or not yet.
Have you gave it any thought and what your going to do for cleaning solution?
I still have the urge to try a better plunger. I like the idea of that part being polished and or a special slick coating. But again I haven't ponied up the money myself yet to see if its all hype.
What I have read is they are finky. But I guess you never know until you try one. Since I tried Overwatche's trigger with a minus connector I stopped looking for a better trigger. With that said maybe I'm missing out.
All sorts of crap. They had the tournament won all the way to we cheated and they were pet rabbits we fattened up for the tournament. Hell for one we let the people who accused us of cheating dissect the rabbits on their tailgate to see if we weighted them. Mind you we were 16-19 year old kids...
