It's a '68 hi-speed, for its age the finish wasn't to bad. Limbs were still straight, no major issues. Had a small hairline crack on the belly side limb tip overlay that didn't go through into the glass so I was able to inject it with epoxy after sanding the old finish off. Sanded it up to 1000...

Not really an AR guy, I built 1 pistol previously and while I like the gun I just am not a huge shooter of them. This one was donated to me by my brother so no cost to start.

Thanks, I think the easiest thing will be sending him one of the buttons to replace for now. He doesn't want to be bothered doing anything really and is just trying to get rid of the rifle.

I'm just going to order a mag lock and ship it to him directly. He can install it and ship the rifle to my ffl. Easiest way for him and I as he doesn't want to be bothered disassembling and boxing multiple things. Just figured if someone had a spare laying around i'd buy it from them as opposed...
