A couple months ago I bought a set of 3 Hornady 38 special/357 dies from Optics Planet. I never noticed that they’re the cowboy version supposedly for lead cast bullets. I checked the website and in the main description, there’s nothing noting these as cowboy dies. Oh well. Anyway, I can’t find...
I have the 48. I also have a 43. The slides are interchangeable so I essentially have 4 guns out of two. LOVE the 48. Feels great in my hands. Not as tough to grip as the 19, for me anyway. Shoots great. Super flat.
Lol. So some chick named Tiffany in Mumbai is gonna be able to interpret New York weapons restrictions. Why didn't we think of this before?!
PS - not being a jerk, just thought it was funny
You've really handled both? If I were able to do that, it would make this an easier decision but obviously that not possible. If you say the originals are better I'll take your word for it. I just don't want one with a sloppy cylinder or lockup. Those are super tight on the original?
That's what I was thinking based on the reviews of the new Python. Everyone says it's much sturdier and just built better because of new manufacturing process, although the trigger may not be up to par with the original.
That's the thing. I'm not sure what I want anymore. The sentimental side of me wants the original. The practical side would rather have the stronger, likely improved mechanicals, but not as pretty new version that I can actually use
So, I've wanted a Colt King Cobra since I was in high school back in the late 80's early 90's. I put off buying one since by the time I could actually have and/or afford one, they were stupid expensive. Their prices have come down a bit in recent years for whatever reasons, but I'm torn between...
^ I would definitely use a postal money order. I actually had one get lost in the mail. Was a pain in the balls and took a while to get reimbursed, but it eventually happened.
Be a Fudd all you want, but the moment you espouse to the media that certain firearms shouldn't be available to American citizens, you've essentially become part of the gun control machine. Fuck him.
I'm looking at a gun or two on Gunsinternational and I was wondering if anyone has ever bought anything off of there. The ones I'm looking at aren't auctions, but the sellers have prices listed and I was wondering if it's typical to shoot them offers for less than the listed price.
That's bonkers. They had these at Cabela's locally for the "normal" price of $1499 just last week. They had the 9mm a month ago for a bit less. I was really considering it. That's a sharp firearm
No way man. Steel is great. It was such a fluke. It happens now and then, but the likelihood of it getting past your safety glasses, or getting hit like I did is incredibly small. At worst it might leave a mark for a week.
On second thought, maybe you should stick to paper. With the lack of...
Have you held the PPS? I really wanted to like that gun, cuz I love the feel of my PPQ and the grip is very similar, but I found that the PPS grip was too much like the Shield. Too thin side to side for how deep it is if that makes sense.
I just assumed if you were running for sheriff, you HAD to have law enforcement experience. Just makes sense to me. Whether he's super pro 2A or not, that disqualifies him from my vote unless he was the only non Democrat running.
I guess they get it in drips and drabs. If you're lucky enough to be there when they put it out, then you score. Otherwise absolutely nothing except weird caliber stuff and insanely expensive shot shells
One of my buddies told me he just happened upon some 9mm at Cabela's and it was just barely above regular price, like $13.99 for 50 rounds for what would have been $11.99 pre craziness. I called there to see if they had any and the lady scolded me like I had no idea there's a fucking ammo...
The G2 is smaller like just a bit bigger than Glock 43 size. The G3 is closer to glock 19 size I think. Never had my hands on a G3 yet though.
The P365xl has a larger grip and slide. I prefer it over the regular 365. That grip is just too small, and I have small hands
If you want second strike capability, get a Taurus G2. Very concealable. Trigger is like an H&K LEM trigger. Think I mentioned in another thread that's one of very few guns I have that has NEVER malfunctioned.
Although I just got notification of this being in stock today and now it's all gone. At .26 per round!

Depends on where you get it. I've found FFL's and private gun stores are going for at least double what it used to be (.10-.15) per round. The chain stores are selling it for about the same price as always... If you can find it
I couldn't give two shits about any of them either, but when you have anti gunners pouring millions into those races, the only chance we have is for us to help little by little. When they pass every single gun control wet dream, at least I could say I did something. This has the potential to be...
I can dig it. Should perhaps not get too far ahead of himself though. Tone it down a bit to ensure some moderate votes.

I'm spreading my donations around to various groups. It burns me to no end having to spend money to exercise my God given rights, but I'd rather be pissed shelling out some cash than be pissed that everything I have is deemed illegal, and all firearms manufacturers are bankrupt. I know we don't...
So he enacts a law that he knows is unconstitutional, but just last week was deriding law enforcement for choosing not to enforce unconstitutional laws.
Hypocritical much?
From what I understand, the ATF was 100% going to deem something, anything, illegal after Vegas, and Trump decided to throw bump stocks under the bus because what they initially wanted was to use a vague definition of anything that could increase the rate of fire, and ban anything that applied...
That's about exactly my feeling and position. I could typically go through 5 to 6 thousand rounds per year of 9mm practicing, training and competing. I'd like to have at least two years' worth in reserve. So, anywhere between 15 and 18 thousand would be a comfortable number for that caliber.
I will. I told my wife that ammo is 3 times the cost it has been in the past. She'd always piss and moan about me buying ammo every chance I got. I told her I'm still going to have to eventually buy it no matter the cost. She actually told me to buy as much as I want then when it comes back...
No I'm not. I set up notifications for certain calibers so I'm notified when they come in stock. It's typically 22lr for 12 cents a round type stuff. Every now and then it's 9mm, but more than I'm willing to pay
They know what's going on. 8 million new gun owners+panic buying+riots+new anti gun president+hoarding+gun manufacturing at full capacity requires lots of ammo for function testing
18 minutes.
That's how long it took for the Speer 9mm to get all bought up from Targetsports. I wasn't going to buy any, but just wanted to see how long it would take.
