Had a blood lead level test done.... and got a call from the NYS department of health

I am surprised you were not covered under HIPAA. I know the results can be sent to the department of health but I was under the impression you name had to be withheld unless you signed away permission.

New option for 'fixed mag' SAFE Act?

Good point about the buffer tube. It can be a bit of a bitch because of the castle nut. A buffer tube that was designed to be removed easily without a wrench would make clearing rounds a lot easier and safer.

New option for 'fixed mag' SAFE Act?

RDN - agree 100%. The ban is ridiculous. But we have to live with it. For now. I do have a mini-14 and an SKS. Fun to shoot.

New option for 'fixed mag' SAFE Act?

I don't have evil black rifles but if I did, I would have a featureless and a fixed mag. The speed loader for the fixed mag looks like a nice option. If I had a fixed mag AR (which I don't) I may try out the speed loader. Here is the problem with solutions like this: SAFE was passed in part...

    WikiLeaks Carpetbombs the CIA

If this is true, it is the largest leak in history and the ramifications are beyond anything most people can imagine. What is stated in the documents basically boils down to, the CIA could have the ability to access any computer/tv/phone/etc anytime they want. There would be no way to tell if...

The Lady says Lock and Load Boys and Girls!

Funny, didn't conservatives feel that under Hillary, our rights were in jeopardy? Trump won in part because of this. Did the libs wake up the day after the election and say, "hey, we should try that." Since Trump took office, I have lost NO rights. Fact is, I feel I am slowly gaining...

    Decent gun safe

State Farm will issue a stand alone, personal property policy based on the value of the item(s) you wish to insure. I was looking for a policy for my drone. My company said they had nothing that would cover it. Someone recommended State Farm. I called the local office and they issued me a...

    Attacked from within?

I certainly think an attack from within is possible. With military equipment and troops from another county, most likely not. However, it is conceivable that a significant number of foreign entities could enter the country and position themselves to attack our citizens at a given time and...

    Why is Cuomo in Israel

Summary of Media Articles Discussing Obama’s FISA Warrants To Monitor Candidate/President Trump…

This would seem to be a win either way for Trump. Either it was happening and was most likely illegal OR it did not happen and the left manufactured the reports in which case here is an opportunity for Trump to expose them for what they are.

Best Gun for Home Defense: Shotgun, AR-15, or Pistol?

Really? So you are in an unfamiliar house to rob it and hear that sound, you are going to stick around? I wonder who the fool is? No offense, but the majority of break ins are kids looking for booze and money and if someone is there for more serious reasons, like I said, if the sound doesn't...

I have a whole house electrified floor and family wears rubber sole shows. Someone breaks in, I just flip a switch. Ok, for real, pump action shotgun. So many reasons. If its dark, you don't have to worry about aiming as much. Penetration, if you have other family members in the house...

You are correct, he may not get to appoint another. But, he has 4 years and is less than 2 months in. At this point I think its better to sit and see what happens with the court makeup. Two years from now if nothing has happened with appointments, push the issue. A lot of people are in the...

GOP Push Underway To Change Safe Act ?

Everyone I can contact, write, call and otherwise ask to help has been contacted, written called. I am fairly certain it will not make a difference. As stated above, Cuomo would never let his baby die unless it was in his political interest and in NY, it never will be. On the national level...

    Kids and Guns

I have daughters so toy guns were not an issue. When they were under the age of 5, I did not let them see my guns for the most part.
