I really like the 357 sig, I carry it daily unfortunately not very many police agencies adopted this fine cartridge.
With out the backing of police/federal agencies adopting a cartridge means a slow death for a many fine shooting cartridge.
We are planning a few trips this year, Sampson is one of our favorite state parks
We planning a few ATV rides at tall pines ATV Events
And @ Potter County Family Campground
What we have seen a poor shot from either the 12 or the 20 gauge will leave a wounded deer to track, I've seen a poor shot placement from a 30-06 "gut shot" run for 100's of yards
I use a 12 gauge Ithaca with a rifled brl, very accurate,
My father uses a 20 gauge 1100 also very accurate,
All the deer we have taken with proper shot placement, did not know the difference.
