New Yorkers Against Gun Violence will be holding their annual lobby day in Albany on May 7.
They’re busing in children again from the City. I expect some sort of spectacle will take place in The Well of the LOB.
The League of Women Voters’ will host a "gun sense presentation" by Nassau Co. District Attorney Madeline Singas on Thursday, March 7th at 7:00pm, Port Washington Library, 1 Library Drive, Port Washington. Assemblyman Charles Lavine is scheduled to attend.
The "extreme risk protection orders" bill A-2689/S-2451 has been sent to the Governor for signing.
A signing ceremony/gun control rally will be held Monday at 10:00am at John Jay College, Gerald W. Lynch Theater, 524 West 59th Street, Manhattan.
At noon today Rep. Joe Morelle will host a media availability after meeting with members of the Rochester chapter of Moms Demand Action, Keating Federal Office Building, 100 State St., Basement Conference Room, Rochester.
Albany is not done with gun control yet. People are making noise about the mandatory firearms storage bill A-2686/S-2450.
Everyone should contact their state legislators about it.
