If your buying for SHTF,in a situation where you're actively carrying a rifle (ie; the poop really has hit the oscillating cooling device and theres a possibility of using that rifle in a defensive nature) you probably dont want...

I ran Magpul during some recent classes and like them alot. I also hear Blue Force Gear has a great sling designed by Larry Vickers and the Proctor sling also has a good reputation. As far as QD goes, Im moving all my slings to QD with Magpul adapters.

Love Meateater! Steve Rinella is a very intelligent, well read guy, which is what sets that show apart from other hunting shows. I love that he shows cooking the game after the hunt and I even purchased his book too. Highly recommend that show, he has a podcast too but I find it kind of meanders...
