I canned my first batch of candied jalapeños last night. Three pints. It took approximately 2 1/4 lbs. of jalapeños. ( They cook down quite a bit when they’re candied. )

We’ve been eating and putting up tons of zucchini. The green beans are so prolific we can hardly keep up with eating and preserving them for winter. Our tomato’s are starting to come on strong now. I grew an heirloom purple cherry tomato this year just to see how it would do and I’m impressed...

I think that I can make the Mitsubishi’s fit after all. Unfortunately I am driving down to NC this weekend for a week. If they are still available after I get back I’ll make arrangements with you to pick them up.
