Thanks i called county clerk an you have to fill out paper work like a pistol permit. Its much easier if you have your permit already. I have always been against getting a NYS pistol permit so i never got one. Oh well ill wait around for the next loop hole. C&R ffl might be excluded.

In todays world its not rocket science to mass produce good ammo. The last bad ammo i bought was those lacquer coated steel case rounds but those are discontinued now i think

I use them as well and very good for the price but not the best at indoor ranges when shooting big bore. Overall really good

How far are you really shooting to kill a bear? My friends hunt in Maine an a 308 is plenty to kill a bear. The rem core locks work very well. If you really want to improve your long range shooting change out the trigger. I had a savage 308 with a 2.5lb trigger it was more accurate then myself lol
