Has anyone else noticed that the deer are getting their winter coat already ? All the deer near my house are already very dark and appear to have rather thick coats already. I hope this doesn't mean that winter is going to set in early and stay until June. I'm all in for a mild winter.
The only banned guns that the Canadian gov't has received have been those that were in stock at gun shops. The first thing the ban legislation did was to prevent dealers from selling any banned item that they had in stock. This amounts to about 12,000 guns. Those guns were shipped to an...
I probably shouldn't have posted that. Truthfully, I have a lot of respect for her. She was a noble and fair leader with a steady hand. The world would be much better off with more like her in charge.
Canada may have "banned" hundreds of types of firearms, but they certainly aren't collecting them from anyone. The Provincial police in the vast majority ( if not all ) of the provinces have all said something to the effect of "We're busy doing our own work. Collecting guns is work for the...
I guess that makes sense. It's very responsible of him to use a battery powered chainsaw as well. Kathy would approve, I think. I just hope he doesn't think the gov't is going to let him make money off the solar installation, or use any of the power generated from it without paying a hefty tax.
Not sure why you want a new chainsaw, since she's intent on banning all woodburning stoves and fireplaces. Got to save the environment, don't you know.
First, you must admit that these checks have NOTHING to do with inflation or countering it. Next you must admit that sending out a "rebate" check of some kind, regardless of the label put upon it has, and is a time rested political move designed to curry favor with the voters.
I'm quite sure...
That won't pan out all that well either. Millions of us have been reloading for decades. We have countless thousands of bullets, primers and powder sitting on shelves in our reloading rooms. Most shooters have stockpiles of ammunition that date back several years.
Even if they start...
Short of going door to door and searching EVERY house, the government can only hope to capture correct information on about 60% of all guns in the country. Even going door to door, they would certainly not get them all. There will ALWAYS be guns that remain hidden, as well as people with the...
Yes, still sitting in my garage. It seals out weather as well as you would expect. Not 100% watertight, but 99.95%. None of them are 100%. Your truck bed has areas where water will migrate in. Come look at it. Try it on your truck.
Clearly, if a 9mm will blow the lungs right out of the body, then a .50 BMG bullet passing by in close proximation would likely sever all limbs and send them flying in different directions.
DUH. Shouldn't take a descendant of Einstein to figure that out.
When I was a kid in school, if you wanted to put words in italics, you just held the chisel at a different angle on the stone. It was easy to figure out.
I don't know what that is. Must be some TV show. You have the wrong guy for that - I do actually own a TV, but unless you have a DVD, you're watching a greenscreen. I don't have any type of service.
It ☆STARTS☆ in 3 months ? That means I have 2 months to find a suitable boat and load it down with essentials. I want to be as far away from everyone else on the planet as possible, and the middle of the ocean seems like the best solution. I want to already be at sea when the first person...
Canadian highways are loaded with these guys, and let me tell you, they are a nightmare. Half of them sit in the center lane doing 20 under the speed limit and won't move over for any reason ever. They only move over to get off at an exit, and they only do that at the very last second. LOTS...
Because someone asked,
These are made from smooth sanded sign grade plywood. They are primed and painted white, then the design is painted on. They are then covered with a urethane coating. They can be hung on fences, garages, houses, even mailbox posts, or just stand them in your...
You could use them as filet boards for smelt and goldfish. Or you could keep them in your get-home bag as kindling for your firecraft kit. You could use them as Hors d'Oeuvres serving trays for midgets. You could make a pistol grip shifter handle for your pickup truck. You could send them as...
In a full on firefight at your home, use whatever you can grab first. But, as far as self defense carry gun ammo goes, best to carry factory loads, and NOT the hype loads like DRT, Zombie-Max, stuff like that that will draw the ire of the prosecutor and the jury. A plain-Jane hollow point is...
I don't disagree that many, many people are well beyond the point of rehabilitation. I said it STARTS with good parenting.
I also don't disagree with true JUSTICE for criminal acts. ☆☆ HOWEVER☆☆, that can ONLY happen AFTER our criminal codes are thoroughly revamped. True justice is dependant...
As Saltwater said, lots of drugs and homeless with all the problems that surround the two. On a positive note, the Comedy hall of fame ( is that what it's called ? ) is worth a visit.
50 + posts with ideas to lower crime, but truthfully it has to start much earlier than that, with good Parenting. A good old fashioned pants down spanking when needed, and I mean right then and there, right in the cereal aisle of the grocery store if that's when it's needed would solve a lot...
