There is nothing that surprises me when it comes to the Ninth Circuit. The ONLY thing that would surprise me would be a well reasoned decision that actually followed the Constitution.
From the link, as I read it, it's a whole lot of nothin'. Money thrown at this and that, but no real action. Typical of that rotten cunt and her party.
Kinda strange, don't you think ? By the looks of it, the bullets come out of one end while the blade comes out of the other. Imagine getting shot with your own knife as you were attempting to stab someone, or getting stabbed with your own gun. No thanks, I'll pass this time.
It took a while for it to sink in, but I think we ALL need to read this post again. Pay particular attention to that very last line :
"..it is safer with you constrained."
Read that again.
"..it is safer with you constrained."
THAT my friends, is the very essence of ALL gun control...
I'm a vet, been in more firefights than I care to or am able to remember, had to kill enemy combatants, had to destroy boats and illegal cargo, and grew up with/know combat vets too. That has NOTHING to do with STUPID rules at gun clubs. There is nothing undisceplined about "long range"...
The Veramontes and Grant cases have been accepted. They WILL be argued and a decision WILL be issued. Further, there were several leftover cases from the last term that WERE NOT dismissed. They are still alive in front of SCOTUS. They include Gator's and Duncan among others. Those cases are...
I never said I obey the rules. There's a reason I go to the range when I'm pretty sure nobody else will be there. Of course, I always have to take a toy that I can play with in case there is someone else there, but that's just the way it goes.
I would be happy to find a better club, but...
Aint that the truth !!
The club I belong to has so damn many stupid F'ing rules it's funny. No people shaped targets*. No defensive practice ( draw from holster and shoot ). None other than paper targets on boards ( no clay pidgeons, steel, or plastic reactive targets ). No shooting more...
Uh, Dude ! Those aint turkey shells ! Not in PRNY, anyways ! You may not use shot larger than size 2 for hunting turkeys. The mix of 4's and BB's would be a violation. I have boxes of those same shells, albeit a bit older than yours, that were used for hunting geese. Mine might be steel...
If New Jersey appeals this to SCOTUS, the case will be GVR'ed pending the outcome of Veramontes and Grant. Then in June the third circuit will once again look at the case and determine that their ruling stands as is. The third circuit court waited to rule on this case until after the last...
licensing and permit to purchase schemes will undoubtedly be the next vehicle used. They will try to make it so expensive and cumbersome with training requirements that you'll just not bother. This is the "Footnote # 9" in BRUEN. That basically says that licensing and training requirements...
I didn't say they wouldn't try, I'm just saying that I suspect the language in the decision by the third circuit will be mirrored in the SCOTUS decision next June. That language is unambiguous, and far reaching. It leaves New Jersey no ground on which to stand, and I suspect the same this time...
Both Viramontes and Grant have "single feature" language. When SCOTUS strikes them down, ( overwhelmingly likely ) that ruling will destroy the law here in PRNY. The language in today's Third Circuit decision is far reaching and all encompassing. I suspect that the SCOTUS ruling next June...
Free to good home : one pair of stereo speakers. These are labled as "Audio Reference liquid cooled studio monitors". In reality, they're "white van" speakers, but in all honesty they sound decent unless you're a true audiofile. Both are in excellent condition with no damage. Foam...
First of all, it's PAST, not PASSED.
PAST refers to a time prior to the present or is used to express previous experiences or activities. It has other closely related meanings as well. "He worked as a sailor in years past" "Past President" etc.
PASSED refers to the action of overtaking...
I would LOVE to hear how you get from Illinois to Minnesota without going through either Iowa or Wisconsin. Does your car have flight ability ? Perhaps a ferry ? Maybe you're going to teleport ? Please explain. I'll wait.
Free to good home: I have a TPMS program tool that works with GM vehicles using the 315 MHz sensors. Will meet near greater Buffalo area to verify that it works for you.
This is a NATIONWIDE ruling. Despite being part of the roughly three dozen rules and regulations that the ATF has proposed changes to, a court in Texas has vacated the rule in it's entirety.
I guess I should qualify my proclamation. The SKS is legal in MOST of PRNY. I see that you're from Blue Point....that sure sounds like some Long Island /NYC area type place to me (although I don't know for sure). If that's the case, there may be some regional prohibition in place. My end...
Why the frowny face @Criticalt ? Is there already a COEXIST sticker on it, or is there no room for one ?
You realize of course, that you have to start wearing Birkenstocks now, right ?
I emptied my safe today and gathered the ones that reside other places in the house. I had a long talk with them about June being gun violence awareness month as well as gay pride month. I told them that it was absolutely unacceptable for any of them to be violent or gay. They seemed to...
The entire arguement collapses under it's own weight as soon as the slightest bit of logic is introduced.
Take your REPARATIONS and shove them up your ass sideways.
I don't get it - someone please get your crayons out and explain it to me. New York was NOT a slave State. No slaves were owned in New York. Ever. So WHY, EXACTLY, SHOULD NEW YORK PAY REPARATIONS ?
No F'ing way !!!!
I don't believe it.
Certain other members here told me that all these crime guns were the result of POLY80 kits being readily available and that the SAFE ACT was doing it's job and saving us all !
Back before the era of UBER and LYFT, I drove a cab overnights for an extra income source. That shift took me to some unsavory areas of greater Buffalo. My cab was equipped with a piece of ½" plate steel strategically placed in the back of the front seat. It wouldn't have stopped a head shot...
Serious question here, What part of reparations is owed by areas of America TODAY that were NOT part of America during the era of slavery ? For instance, but by no means exclusive: what would Idaho owe ? Idaho was admitted to the US territories in 1890. Long after slavery was abolished...
The first slaves brought to America were IRISH. Well before Africans were brought here.
Why is it that we never hear about Irish American people demanding reparations ? Is it just a different mindset ? Or maybe it's that "white privilege" I keep hearing about - even though they were...
Perhaps those people that actually are descendents of slaves, those that can actually prove it, should go to Africa and seek reparations from the people that captured and sold your ancestors in the first place.
Let me know how that works out for you.
