WASHINGTON, D.C. — Republican lawmakers expressed a sense of relief Wednesday following their party’s apparent loss of congressional power, welcoming the opportunity to return to the familiar and considerably less demanding role of emphatically explaining what they would do if they were in charge.
“We’re excited to get back to talking about the things we believe in,” said one Republican senator, who spent much of the afternoon outlining an ambitious legislative agenda that he acknowledged would have been difficult to implement while Republicans controlled both chambers of Congress.

Two things did this. The war in Iran and cost of living. The same thing happened to the Dena last time. The same thing could happen next time to the Dems if prices don’t go down. The main thing was those two things. Trump is stupid and ruined it. The big question is was it on purpose?

I’m a bit disappointed in the NYS race for governor. Blakeman got spanked. He’s losing right now by 21%. This doesn’t even put Hochul on notice that nys is moving in the wrong direction. This to me in fact pushes her further to where she’s been going. We be screwed.
We added another terrorist to the government and a fake pastor in Texas.
So we will have another two years of nothing getting done nationally with Dems in change and Trump as president. How long before the impeachment papers are signed because they are already drawn up.
Oh and BTW this just green lit the French riots to come here so expect that.

Perhaps most directly impactful on a local level in Erie county, Mickey Kerns appears to have lost. This is bad news for anyone who owns pistols. Say what you want about NY, but I felt like Kerns did he is best to make the process "easy" for us and even setup satellite offices outside of downtown.

I highly doubt the D will do that. Things won't be easier.
