All that was mentioned for punishment is buying an indulgence of $500. for illegal possession...no bail/bond, no arrest, and you know damn well they aren't going to pay the fines...I seem to recall Federal Penalties for using/modifying/loading one outside of its intended design, but I doubt it would go anywhere unless you're a White Man with a Job and some money to extort.
The things one can do with a Lathe and a chunk of metal would make their tiny democrat brains explode.
