California County Bans CCW Accessories

California is out of control. On a recent episode of Gun Owners Radio, hosts Michael Schwartz, Alisha Curtin, and Dakota Adelphia dug into a policy out of California’s Contra Costa County that restricts what concealed carriers can actually carry. As Adelphia discovered, the county forbids pistol-mounted red-dot optics, weapon-mounted lights, and lasers for CCW holders.

The county said right there that stuff is dangerous and unusual.

Believe it or not, Lawsuits CAN be brought against Manufacturers, Distributes, Dealers, and even Sales persons for those delivering ammunition and accessories as well as firearms should they be involved with violence committed with a gun...that's right, a wack-jab shoots up the place and the Gun maker, the people that made the Holster, the ammunition company, and the distributors that sold it to the Dealer, and the Dealer as well CAN BE SUED.

Unless you have the means to fight it to the top. The PLCAA will cover the manufacturer on down. Just gotta make it past the bullshit activist judges. Shouldn't have to, but for some reason that's the way it is. Judges should definitely be the ones to lose qualified immunity. Maybe then they might do something crazy like actually rule the way the law is written. Their only job is to ensure fair and proper application of the law. Not interpret it to suit their own ideals

It's a Policy! Means nothing. Not a law. Bans, Policys, mandates, codes mean nothing in a Court of law. Just because someone with a "Title" who doesn't like something can't just ban it. Ignore it!

Well alot of it is the process. When a judge allows these lawsuits to proceed then obviously you have to hire an expensive team of attorneys. The Remington and Bushmaster name live on so it's not as if they were untouchable toxic waste. There demise was associated with more than one poor decision
