On their own, most of them wouldn't, but they get their marching orders from the communist globalists that typically run virtually every big city and many smaller ones as well. I don't recall their terrorist tactics happening in a city with a true American as mayor.

The issue is they can't keep them back. The only reason why law and order works is because respect for the cops, law, and order. These people have no respect for the cops or laws, therefore there is no law and order that can be applied to them. Let's face it if enough people wanted to take on the cops it would be no problem at all. There are many more normal citizens than there are cops. After all this is the reason we have guns because we can't count on the cops right? I kind of understand them backing away and no showing their hand. What are they going to do.
I saw that the make antifa terrorists petition got its 100,000 signatures. If they were to be labeled terrorists are they shoot on sight? The should be. Put a bounty on them. How much should an antifa head go for I wonder?
Very difficult to stand your ground against these assholes when they out number the Police sometimes 10 to 1; even harder when the bosses do not support the officers!

The antifa are framing their anger as if everybody on the right is a white supremacist, they do not differentiate KKK from libertarian or conservative everybody on the right is raciest. Honestly there are only a handful of true fascists in the country , and the KKK only exsists today because the FBI informants still pay their dues.

You are totally correct. All of this glorifying ANTIFA as "Justice Warriors" is going to end badly for a bunch of cops. ANTIFA is emboldened now. openly talking violence against the Police.
Once they are allowed to start doing their jobs some ANTIFA heads are gonna get bashed and some cops will also be injured.

Back in the 70's we had a "fun" times paintball game against some Army guys. It became evident that as we got owned, Cops have rules and that will be a bad thing if this ANTIFA thing turns into war. Those bastards can do whatever they want, the Cops have to follow orders and the rules.
If it turns to all out war, the rules will either change or be ignored. As of yet, they are smartly flaunting the rules to their favor. No different than when minority mobs burn their own hoods. You think they'd ever dare march into a solidly white, "right wing" town or hood and try the same shit? They'd be stacked and tagged so fast even Al Sharpton would stay out of it.

The difference is those occurrences were few and far between this antifa bullshit is starting to occur at an alarming rate. Also ignoring the rules is probably what will happen, but that will make matters worse since that's the base of the antifa movement. The cops are in a bad position.

When armed (shields + helmets + bats = armed) people are moving in a group against police and forcing those police to withdraw under threat of imminent violence, the police should be doing something about that. At the very lease give ever second cop a bean bag gun/rubber bullets and tell them they get a bonus for everybody they hit. These street battles I'm seeing online are absurd.

Im sure the police will defend themselves legally within the law if they have to. They can also legally escalate the violence if they are out matched. ie: if you use fists they can use batons, if you use pipe or knife they can use guns.

That is my point. After CNN has emboldened these thugs as "Social Justice Warriors" and half of America being dumbed down to actually beleive them, it is going to fall on to the cops standinging in a picket line to quell them and CNN will be the first ones to bitch about the police using excessive force.
