Federal appeals court strikes down domestic violence gun law

In light of the Supreme Court's recent ruling on guns, the appeals court decided to vacate a man’s conviction and ruled the federal law banning people subject to domestic violence restraining orders from owning guns was unconstitutional.

Interesting and will certainly cause waves on both sides. Restraining orders are handed out like candy in Halloween so I can’t say I disagree but the first time someone is murdered because of this watch out.

The constitution guarantees due process.

Due process says you can't deprive someone of their rights without a conviction by a jury of their peers.

So, that's what it should take to take someone's guns.
