Seriously, having Dick Cheney on your side isn't exactly something to brag about.

My uncle spent his career as a pilot and is a dyed in the wool conservative. He lived most of his adult life out west in Arizona and (currently) Wyoming. He flew fixed base of operations as opposed to commercial (came and went to the same airport all the time). He spent a lot of time flying charters from oil and mining company execs all over the West. He's normally someone who doesn't have a bad thing to say about anyone.

I asked him if he ever flew anyone famous. He said that probably the most famous person he ever flew was Dick Cheney. I asked him how Cheney was in person. His reply was rather curt and something to the effect that he got him to his destination safely.

That's all I really need to know about the man.
