Gillibrand blames do-nothing Congress for mass shootings, other woes

U.S. Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand started her town hall meeting on Sunday afternoon with a remembrance and a reprimand.

Speaking at the McDonough Sports Complex at Hudson Valley Community College, she thanked her colleague, the late Sen. John McCain, for his service to the country as a veteran and as an "extraordinary leader who did the right thing."

It is such a scourge of our society that certain members of Congress, rather than attempting to do something productive and effective, continue to call for egregious infringements on the Rights of Law-abiding American Citizens.
It is unconscionable that these Congressional members, whose sworn duty is to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States, would rather attempt to shred that very same document.
It is outrageous that the People's voice is not only not heard, but utterly ignored, derided, and belittled by these elitist oath-breakers.

These Congressional members are undermining the very foundations of our society...free speech, freedom of the press, freedom of religion and undermining equality by attempting to set certain groups of people above others based solely on the color of their skin.

These Congressional members have also demonstrated their out-sized influence on the communication paths of the Country, giving themselves a giant loudspeaker they can use to overwhelm the voice of The People. They use these paths...specifically the "news" and almost all entertainment methods...to attempt to change people's perceptions and the outcomes of elections.
They regularly make false-flag calls to "get money out of politics" while taking "bribes" and other pay-to-play schemes to cement their position in the government.
They seek to overturn the legitimately elected head of the Federal government based solely on their irrational hatred of the person, and not on any evidence of wrongdoing.

If anyone should be impeached it is the corrupt members of Congress, specifically Ms. Gillibrand, her mentor Chuck Schumer, the increasingly irrational Ms. Pelosi, and the increasingly violent Ms. Waters.
