Just freakin great!
I’m surprised it’s taken this long, the writing has been on the wall forever.
Before I left NY, I started buying a few boxes of copper ammo here and there.
For work ammunition I've been using Barns solid copper bullets for years, for play it's jacketed or lead...not like you;re going to shoot Trap with non-toxic Shot. or .22LR that's anything more than plated if that.

Don't overlook S1799, which is much worse for shooting ranges:

My concern about this bill is the legislative findings that could be construed to mean much more than just lead paint remediation. That stuff does not need to be there.

All of these concerns over lead baffle me. Its been banned since 1979 in paint, anything in a house has been remediated or buried under latex paint for decades.
Why are low income children eating paint chips off windowsills anyway? How did children of previous generations survive biting lead split shot and playing with lead soldiers? What about long abandoned 19th century lead mine a stones throw from my house that is on state land? Shouldn't that be superfund site and slated for cleanup?

take a picture of a copper line coming into "A HOME" <anyone's home> and send them that, LOL, see if they're smart enough to actually come to your home to verify it, LOL

Lead is an excellent shielding against EMP/EMF and Devices such as WiFi Routers, Wireless, Surveillance, etc...the excuse that crumb muncher's were "eating" Lead Paint Chips was the Poster Child for banning it, but the reality was much more sinister.
FHA/VA/Sally-mae/etc. all have demands that ANYTHING with chipping, peeling, flaking, paint MUST BE remediated (painted over or stripped) before they'll approve a loan....even that Bird Bath in the back yard, if it has peeling paint then it's got to be fixed or removed...good thing they don't test the Soil, or do they?
I've known of Gun Clubs that have Trap Fields to contract with remediation companies that actually come in, dig up the dirt, extract the lead shot, then return the soil.
