I just like that the lever action rifle is having a moment again. I recently acquired a Marlin SBL and have yet to shoot it but boy howdy is she a beaut!

The gun my dad had was a pump action .308. It was a Remington but I forget what the model number was.

If I remember correctly they made the model 14 in 4 different calibers.
.25 , .32, .30 & .35 The one that I posted is in my favorite caliber .35
Several years later Remington came out with the pump action model 141 Gamemaster . That was made in several calibers as well.

Thanks for posting, now I need to put that gun on my buy list. I still have a box of 30 Remington ammo that I didn't return to my grandfather. I still had his minty 7400 when he passed but the pump was always my favorite.

Crazy that Rifle sells for more used today than new when they were made....35 Rem ammo isn't cheap or plentiful anymore either!

I need to look but I should have several boxes. I hunted with a Marlin lever in 35 for years before switching to bolt action.
