Property and School taxes on a comparable home will be 1/3 where I'm heading! And there's no $.50¢ per gallon gas tax, no fees and excise taxes attached to 100 other things either!

And oh, I was just notified by my county that my assessment has increased this year once again and of course that means, taxes are going UP! Add in all the taxes and things they want to tax to fund the MTA as well, like Netflix... And you got it! NY is officially the New Britain! Wonder who's gonna pay for all the undocumented? Their free cell phones, living and education? All those pork barrel pet progressive projects? You guessed it, taxes!

Budget is and has been in the RED! State was all giddy when it got Billions Covid relief, went on a spending spree. Now add in all the States shortfalls like income tax revenue shortfall due to residents fleeing, and that'll mean more taxes to bridge the gap, because that's how they think! Anyways...

I will say that I had mixed feelings when I drove my moving truck out of NYS on I-90 and into PA. Very, very sad that I was forced to leave my lifelong home, family, and friends in large part due to the tax situation. Coupled with that were feelings of joy at finally being free (except for one final NYS tax return) of that libtard run shithole state.

I pulled over just beyond the state line, and let loose a fusillade of insults and emotions directed at NYS, and the corrupt assholes destroying it. And I honestly felt a huge sense of joy and relief at finally being out. Probably the same emotion a wrongfully imprisoned inmate feels on the day he gets out of the big house. Driving down a TOLL FREE I-90 into the next phase of my life was great! Like busting out of a locked, smoke filled room in a house on fire, and into the fresh air and sunshine outdoors.

Someday, those of you who also decide to rip out the roots, and bust up the cement shoes holding you there will experience that same feeling too. And then you will be asking yourself "Why did I wait so long to do this?"
