Anyone who does actually break the law should be accountable. So I'm not totally opposed to this idea. But if they're not breaking the law then there is nothing to arrest them for.

That being said, this does set an interesting precedent. Would this mean, say, local county sheriffs could arrest state police or federal authorities who violate the constitutional rights of people during their enforcement of laws that violate such rights? Very interesting question indeed.

Local authorities have arrested feds before. They usually don’t get past booking but they do get removed from the scene.

I've always been a firm believer that a local sheriff has the authority to arrest, for example, a sitting governor who has signed legislation that infringes on the rights of Americans. Even more so when the Supreme Court has already ruled that such laws are in conflict with the Constitution.

Correct but these Feds are carrying out a lawful federal order not infringing on citizens rights. I don’t like all of what or how they are doing it but it’s getting illegal aliens out of the country.
