Lots of angles there. She/it bought guns and murdered school children in a religious school associated with at least one nearby church. There is plenty of law on the books from the civil rights era dealing with attacks on churches as a federal crime, and the Gun Free Schools Act would certainly come into play there as well. Federal laws and statutes dealing with investigating terrorism and maybe/probably(!) even "national security" are certainly in play, given the way Nashville PD is going along with the FIBs on their own investigation that they are supposedly "in charge of." I'd imagine fusion centers and Joint Terrorism Task Force protocols play into that, where the melding of local, state, and federal authorities comes into play on something like this. If the murderess traveled out of state recently in anything that might remotely be viewed as part of the intelligence gathering or planning of the crime, that might invoke interstate authority.

This reeks of the Vegas shooting coverup and memory hole that has been ongoing for 3(?) years now, all run by the FedCoats to make evidence to permanently go away, or buried deep like the JFK assassination coverup decade in the running.

Spit balling here to a certain degree on stuff I've read in the past, without engaging in any research at the moment. As in most things, the Feds and their vast number of agencies have given to themselves, and won for themselves (thanks to jurisdictions who go along with it, and through the legislative, executive, and judicial branches, and other overreach), and a vast web of laws, PLENTY of legal authority to stick their noses in most things if they have a reason or perceived need to do so. Most jurisdictions roll right over.

I can remember decades ago when jurisdictions were jealously guarded as little fiefdoms, with local authorities telling agencies from outside to stay out until they gave the ok to come in, or butt out until other authorities got something from a judge to step in, and so on. Jurisdiction, especially when it came to investigations of any sort, was something completely different than nowadays.

Believe it or not, I can remember local authorities telling State Troopers to get the fuck out of their town because it was a "local matter," and knock down drag out fights in courts between local authorities, county, state, and/or Fed all at the same time. For example, Feds tried for decades to get a presence into the local city, but didn't really get there until the very late 90s/early 2000s with Border Patrol.

Its a Brave New Global America. We're deep into the Five Eyes now, and Big Brother is into everything and anything because that is there business now, not ours. There is a vast web of intelligence agencies, and agents embedded in other non-intelligence stuff to keep tabs on anything the governments (national, state, local, AND international) want to keep an eye on. Then the local Nashville news quotes Katherine Schweit, who assures us that while it would be nice to have the shooter write "I did it because of X," it never really happens like that because "rarely" do so...

Katherine Schweit goes on to point out that "there's a large volume of material to work through." Too bad there weren't a bunch of citizens who could get a peak and read it for them in a timely manner!

Also, Katherine Schweit says the material has to be sifted for "relevance and potential privacy issues." Huh! Finally we get some truth... an admission that we're only going to get what they want us to know... as usual. Even though those documents are not government property, and thus owned by the People? Right?

Then Katherine Schweit says, "I know people are anxious to see and hear what might have been written, but I think that is more curiosity than it is forensic value." Yep, us rubes can't help but rubberneck when we see a car wreck, or a mass murder in a Christian elementary school who where kids were shot up for "reasons unknown." No ma'am, us rubes sure have no interest in them thar ACTUAL FUCKING FACTS at all! No siree bob!

Then Katherine Schweit goes on to talk about the past mistakes of releasing too much, because the shooter wants that so they can be famous and "get glory out of it..." a lesson "learned from Columbine." She states, "Those [Columbine writings/evidence] have become blue prints for other shooters. We don’t want to make that mistake again. So I think it’s important to take the time to decide what, if anything can be released.”

Really? Are kids still getting shot up in their schools, you lying bitch? What fuckings mistakes have law enforcement "learned" from Columbine? Gun Free School Zones are target rich environments, and always will be as long as there are unprotected children in harms way when seconds count and cops are 15 minutes away in average response time.

Up thread I detailed the many ways that Federal authority gives the FIBs the power to take over an investigation like this.

Remember, the FIBs have been warning about homegrown, domestic terrorism for awhile now, all while giving a wink and a nod to the BLM and Antifa riots that have been ongoing since 2020. FIB investigations are where evidence and criminal cases go that need to be buried for political purposes.

That is exactly what happened with the Vegas shooting. The sheriff "in charge" of that investigation would give his press conferences, which gave almost no new information, and answered few questions other than with pablum like "we are looking at that," all while there were FIB handlers standing right behind him to step in and whisper into his ear when things got a bit too "truthy" or a pointed question was asked the Vegas sheriff wasn't sure how to respond to. The official story never made any sense or fit the facts known. It was a cover up, just like this shooting is.

Paddock did not commit that crime alone in my view. His wife conveniently ran off to her homeland the Philippines before the terror attack, obviously a move to put distance between herself and the act of terrorism, was brought back the US, and the FIBs cleared her and she hasn't been heard from since. She was probably an intelligence asset. It is no secret that the US has been destablilzing the Phillipines for years, and there were multiple arms smuggling operations going from the US to the Philippines. There is a lot more to the Vegas shooting we've never been told, and I would say that clearly indicates that there were more accomplices. The FIBs covered it up and made it out to be some random shooting by a gambler who was mad at the casinos for cutting back on the perks he was getting as a high roller.

Which brings me to this shooting. The story that this bitch was mad because people, especially religious people in her community, were not accepting of her fake "transition," is not only completely plausible, but almost certainly the actual motive. I have no doubt about that. That she planned this herself over time and carefully chose her target is clear, given the target, her parent's connection the church where her mother worked, and the pastor of that church being the father of one of the little girls that she shot. All of that is consistent and makes sense, and a single shooter theory here works much, much better than in the Vegas shooting.

So why stonewall the public and put out the agitprop "this is too scary for the public," and the "we don't want to repeat the mistakes of Columbine" retarded nonsense, that the authorities, both local and Federal, are now putting out?

Given that the motive is clear here, hiding information at this point raises the specter of coverup. Given that we know her motive, we know her method, and we know the opportunity, why obfuscate at all? She was a crazed lone gunman (ahem) who killed Christian school children as revenge for not accepting her as a real man. Case closed. Everything is tied off.

Why not run with that? That would close off the idea that there was more going on here.

The way the FedCoats are acting, there is more to this. This case touches on something, other cases maybe, intelligence they have on certain other people or organizations, one of their own operations being run by their own or other agencies, a CHI (confidential human informant) that is connected to this, or some other "matter" as they like to put it.

Even the thin veneer of holding onto the "manifesto" and other "writings" until things cool down and keep people from being in an uproar that might cause political embarrassment to the cops and the FIBs, isn't enough to go to this level of information blackout. Nashville PD was putting information out there, but the FIBs stepped in right quick and put a stop to that, and now the federal authorities are clearly limiting and changing the narrative here.

My guess is the bitch had help, or at the very least encouragement, from other freaks. If not that, then something that touches on the right combination of criminal element to get the FIBs to cover this up, which is obviously what is happening here.

Shooter is dead, there is no evidence or screw ups that would taint a criminal prosecution since there is going to be no criminal trial, we have been told she carried out the crime alone, thus there are no accomplices or witnesses before or after the fact,etc. Case closed, but..... this is really scary stuff that would be bad if the public saw the evidence...

One thing that Michael needs to understand though is that the word "banned" isn't correct. When something is banned that means you can't get the book anywhere. Parents can still most likely buy the book online or in a store. Not wanting it in school curriculum isn't banning. It is just recommending it is removed from the school curriculum.

The vast majority of all books are not in your kids school library. Like 99.999% of books are not in your highschool library.

That doesn't mean 99.999% of books are banned.

Which brings me to this shooting. The story that this bitch was mad because people, especially religious people in her community, were not accepting of her fake "transition," is not only completely plausible, but almost certainly the actual motive. I have no doubt about that. That she planned this herself over time and carefully chose her target is clear, given the target, her parent's connection the church where her mother worked, and the pastor of that church being the father of one of the little girls that she shot. All of that is consistent and makes sense, and a single shooter theory here works much, much better than in the Vegas shooting.

So why stonewall the public and put out the agitprop "this is too scary for the public," and the "we don't want to repeat the mistakes of Columbine" retarded nonsense, that the authorities, both local and Federal, are now putting out?

Given that the motive is clear here, hiding information at this point raises the specter of coverup. Given that we know her motive, we know her method, and we know the opportunity, why obfuscate at all? She was a crazed lone gunman (ahem) who killed Christian school children as revenge for not accepting her as a real man. Case closed. Everything is tied off.

Why not run with that? That would close off the idea that there was more going on here.

The way the FedCoats are acting, there is more to this. This case touches on something, other cases maybe, intelligence they have on certain other people or organizations, one of their own operations being run by their own or other agencies, a CHI (confidential human informant) that is connected to this, or some other "matter" as they like to put it.

Even the thin veneer of holding onto the "manifesto" and other "writings" until things cool down and keep people from being in an uproar that might cause political embarrassment to the cops and the FIBs, isn't enough to go to this level of information blackout. Nashville PD was putting information out there, but the FIBs stepped in right quick and put a stop to that, and now the federal authorities are clearly limiting and changing the narrative here.

My guess is the bitch had help, or at the very least encouragement, from other freaks. If not that, then something that touches on the right combination of criminal element to get the FIBs to cover this up, which is obviously what is happening here.

The Christian school is saying that releasing the manifesto (and presumably the other voluminous writings) will put the school at risk:

"Meanwhile, legal action has been taken by The Covenant School to prevent the release of the manifesto. Their lawyers argue that its publication could compromise the safety of the school, its staff, and its students. The school filed a motion of intervention on Monday to seek protection against the potential risks associated with the manifesto’s release."

I've got news for the Christian school; the risk was already ignored once by ignoring the need to protect school children with effective offensive and defensive measures that boils down to armed security. The school already failed to stop the murder of some of its students. Hiding the manifesto does nothing to change that calculus. If there is stuff in the manifesto that would disclose school safety measures (already and obviously proven to be completely ineffective failures as matter of policy and practice), then redact those portions and move on.

The plain fact of the matter is that the manifesto and other writings and evidence are now government property, which means they are the property of the People, and we have Right to review that property in the interest of governmental transparency to the People who elect them and pay their salaries. With all due respect to the Christian school, they have no basis whatsoever to stop the release of these writings.

My intuition here is that the authorities, particularly the FIBs and FedGov, and very likely hacks in the Tennessee government, are using their influence to get the Christian school to go along to get along, and feeding them talking points. My other thought here is that school admins are potentially playing games to minimize potential lawsuits against the school that may be waiting in the wings.

I'm sorry for the victims, and I do not want them to be forgotten as they ought to be the main focus here. That being said, burying this isn't going to help anything. The sins we hide today will find us out tomorrow and come back to haunt us. The Christian school is just as wrong in this part of this atrocity as the government hacks who want to put a gag on this. As far as I'm concerned, the Christian school has little to no legal standing here to stop the release of the manifesto and other evidence.

Let's understand here that Nashville PD rushed right out to the cameras to assure everyone that this was a lone wolf transfreak shooter and there were no accomplices. I've posted the earlier stories where Nashville cops stated this repeatedly in this very thread.

So, what is Nashville PD saying now?

“Even though the assailant died at the school, the criminal investigative file does not automatically, instantly close,” investigator Lt. Brent Gibson wrote in a court filing. “Investigators must still work to gather and analyze evidence in the case and determine if related crimes were committed, are being planned, or whether other people were involved.” Gibson went on to say the Covenant investigation is expected to take approximately “12 months,” based upon the “volume of evidence and the number of persons to be interviewed,” along with officers working on a total of 46 homicide investigations in the city so far this year. “For comparison purposes, an investigation for a murder-suicide case, where it appears ‘obvious’ what has happened, typically takes eight months,” Gibson added. “While we believe at this time that the assailant acted alone in this case, we do not know for sure. And we need to investigate the matter thoroughly, as we do in all homicides, to rule out any co-conspirators or additional crimes related to this matter.”

Gibson said officers have been “meeting with, and grieving with the families” alongside working with state and federal agencies, interviewing witnesses, executing search warrants, and gathering documents, items and electronic files from the scene, Hale’s home, and her background.

Gibson said on the matter, “Releasing any of the puzzle pieces too quickly could jeopardize putting this intricate puzzle together.” Gibson specified the documents and records MNPD is still in the process of gathering, such as social media records from the past two years, internet and bank account records, phone records, autopsy and toxicology reports, records obtained from search warrants, medical records including psychiatric treatment and gun and ammunition account records. Gibson also stated they are interviewing individuals identified in all the records and Hale’s actions for the months prior to the incident and following up on information discovered during the course of the investigation. “Many of these documents must be subpoenaed, and it takes time to get the records back,” Gibson wrote. “MNPD must then examine the content of the materials and the metadata. MNPD needs to review the assailant’s messaging data, internet search histories, and any other relevant evidence. This often can be a time-consuming process.” He goes on to say MNPD hasn’t had an opportunity to interview everyone “connected to the incident” or to review “all the materials it has gathered.”

So lets just square that circle. I have no doubt whatsoever that the FIBs came in and slapped "National Security" and "Terror Investigation" on this as soon as they got to the scene. My earlier view that it was likely that the Nashville cops clammed up because of the Feds stepping in I think is established as fact by now. Its Vegas all over again.

Remember, the Nashville cops were emphatically saying there were no accomplices, lone shooter, blah blah blah. Now, they are running down ever lead, leaving no stone upturned, interviewing everyone who knew the murdering bitch, and anyone connected to those people, and so on. Mountains of evidence to sift through, tons of internet sleuthing to do, search warrants to execute, documents to be gathered, etc. Its a real rabbit hole, Alice, and we're going to need some time to tease all of that out and put it in duplicate and triplicate.

The parents go on to argue MNPD’s planned release of “a redacted version of the writings is too much.”

“Rather, the parents see no good that can come from the release and wish to contend that the writings—which they believe are the dangerous and harmful writings of a mentally-damaged person—should not be released at all,” they wrote. The filing goes on to state if they are permitted to intervene in the lawsuit, they will argue the documents should not be released and should not be considered open records due to “the school safety exception” being “broad enough to encompass all of the writings and keep them from being released.” They also cite that “public policy behind the Open Records Act” does not apply in this case, given “the very real danger (and sincere fear of the parents) of copycat attacks and the trauma and harm that public release of the documents will cause to the parents, their children, and related family members for years to come.”
