Hochul sends the national guard to jail where prison guards are striking

[Bigfoot]

I hate when Hochul the Fuck Face stands behind a microphone and attempts to talk with authority. Her go-to's are, "I tell you what" or "Take a guess"... It's so irritating. She sucks.

Nobody wants to be talked down to by a buck tooth midget that happenstanced her way into power.

Hochul the Horrible is just plain horrible.

[Drinkthekoolaid]

What's with that woman? Why does everything she gets involved in turn to shit?
Every decision she makes is the wrong decision. Every side she takes is the wrong side.
100% of the time.

Ho Lee Fuk she's an asshole.

Because she's in a role she is not qualified for.

This is what happens when a vapid empty suit political shape shifting amoeba DEI candidate that is willing to do or say anything to obtain power finally gets it.

She has ridden everyone's coat tails her entire career. She faked it till she made it and now she can't fake it anymore. She can't blame anyone else for her failures and short comings. No one is going to bail her out of throw her a life line. She's effectively backed herself into a corner with her idiotic rhetoric and ideas.

[Grimscale]

So if you're AWOL and subject to forfeiting pay and benefits, how the fuck do she think she's going to have CO's arrested,

Just saw an ad calling out COs to become Orleans County Sheriffs.
Do you think they'll have to arrest themselves after they resign as COs and become a cop?

Maybe, finally, we'll get cops in NY willing to arrest heil hochul and her ilk for their crimes against the People.

The sheriff and the State Police in Orleans county are pro Correctional Officer

The Courthouse in Albion has the dome lights turned on Blue in support for the officers.

Plenty of support!

[Depick]

I’m hoping these guys get what they’re asking for. You can’t expect people to do a difficult job with no backup or support.

Hochul’s stupidity and arrogance is a major roadblock.

We we will see an offer from the state is expected today after 11 hours of negations yesterday. I d not think what they are asking for is unreasonable.
All they want is appropriate staffing levels because the state deemed 70% ok, an increase in OT rates, base pay increases, a $5,000 signing bonus to attract CO’s and a maximum of 16 hours of work per day. 24 hours shifts should never be allowed.

[OwnTheRide]

Yeah, arrested for what? The bitch is desperate at this point and it shows.....

I took the time to read the Taylor Law and found exactly zero provisions that allow for arrest of striking public employees. The one penalty I did find in there was that they can be docked double-pay for the time they spent striking, meaning no only would they not be paid for the time they were on strike, they would need to pay the state the equivalent of their wages for that time as well.

...which can probably only be enforced if they return to the job. I suspect if they quit, even this penalty could not stand.

The removal of HALT , if this is not addressed, the offer will be voted down

Hochul's a dumb ass, she doesn't have what it takes. Andy Cuomo was a political pro, and he still got Democrated when he became a liability and was forced to resign. Hochul's an amateur in comparison, and I think she's toast.

I don't think things are going to end well for her.

I realize that whoever replaces her will most likely be even worse than Hochul.
But I will still enjoy watching Hochul's political career go up in flames.
Being perp-walked would be even better, though.
I'm sure she's dirty somewhere.

Now imagine a young college aged kid joining the NG , looks great on a resume etc. You are serving your country.

Then you receive orders to report to Attica correctional facility, or any CF.

Can you imagine how intimidated these people are walking into this environment.

[holdover]

She is the cause of her own night mares and she cant escape. It was her genius that caused this. She could have been a leader and listened to her people, address what was wrong ,and make adjustments , work with them Instead she is going to show them she is right and use the power of her seat to do it . She refuses to accept she was wrong, blame everyone else that had nothing to do with it . No wonder Cuomo liked her , she was just an ass kissing idiot that doenst know WTF she is talking about.

My union is terrible. In one breath they bash the people that refuse to do anything for us then they tell us to vote for them. I asked one time why this is and they told me well we know their track record but the new people we don’t so we know how to handle them. The people in office will be better than the replacements. I asked how they know that but they don’t like questions. They blame us for not doing stupid certain things they say matter. Sorry me wearing a shirt and taking a picture is not why you’re failing to get me a raise. Maybe we need to strike like the CO’s even though we’re not allowed as well. Takes years to train some of us and what’s going on at the federal level maybe longer these days.

Opt out of the union. Stop giving them your money. Easy thing to do.

So if you're AWOL and subject to forfeiting pay and benefits, how the fuck do she think she's going to have CO's arrested, and once you've been arrested you're "locked out" of the Facility...da fuck? Does she think these are Soldiers that she can order around like a General? Even NG Soldiers "quit" by not showing up to Drill any longer (3x IIRC) The number of Troopers (at least up here) is pitiful and the new kids on the Job don't know wtf they're doing or allowed to (or not to) do.
IF, god forbid, there is a Prison Break, especially of any size, it's going to be an epic shit-storm of blame and death.

Yes, under the Taylor Act (also known as the New York State Public Employees' Fair Employment Act), a public employee can be arrested if they participate in a strike, as the law explicitly prohibits strikes and can result in criminal penalties including fines and jail time for violating this provision

prolapsed uterus dragging the ground?
Fuck her? Not with anything of mine!

The way that the accidental Governor Asshochul projects herself, it seems to me like she has the little man syndrome thing going on.

It's like the little dude in our local bar that, for some reason, maybe because he's so short, he puff's his chest out and act's all tough and shit. But he's shorter than any of the women in the bar. Including my wife, who is only 5'3". lol

Hochul attempts to talk tough but she comes across as a ass clown when she does.

She's a fucking loser. She's in over her eyebrows, and no one is going to take her seriously at this point. She's done for. IMHO

I'm aware, I just failed to properly explain my logic: Refused to go to work (at a job that could fire you without notice) and we'll arrest you.
If you arrest me, I can no longer go to work in any LEO/CO capacity until cleared of wrong doing and/or released and allowed to return. (Locked out) even then there are contradicting Laws when personal, physical safety are an legitimate concern can refuse to work.

Yes.

The entire Taylor law is weird and confusing. I studied it years ago when I was pushing my department/union to strike for many of the same reasons as the CO's.

The more that I read, the more confused that I got.

I Amy. They provide my dental and vision insurance as well as do the deal for y life insurance so I thought I was getting what I paid for. They are getting more political and more liberal these days so I may do that.

They still will provide that dental and vision. Look into it. Best of both worlds, you get the bennies without paying their dues.

Well hopefully some prison guard will ""Accidentally"" lose his keys or leave the wrong door open because he fell asleep on the job after 36 hours

...."the New York State Public Employees' Fair Employment Act"

Well, there's your problem.

When are the Co's calling OSHA if its unsafe to work ..
