Thank you for attending to this.
Counties and land masses don't vote. People do. The number of counties, which in reality are just made up invisible lines on a map, that collectively vote as a geographic facet one way or another is wholly irrelevant. The government and voting is a representation of the people, not a representation of acres.

Oh how generous of him, to give us money back he taxed into products via tariffs. That's like stealing your pie then him "giving" you a slice of it back while telling you what a good guy he is.
Trump can fuck right off, that dumb ass cunt.

The difference is Biden never have any back.
Sure, he's an ass too, I'm not defending him.
Anyone who taxes you, then gives you some of that money back while pretending to be a "good guy" for doing so can shove their good guy smiles up their ass. Any and all of them.

Unless I am mistaken, its been my understanding that the tariffs were like an investment in the future, there would be some belt tightening for a while, but in the long run the country would benefit. Giving a refund is fine by me, if you dont want yours, pm me and I'll give you an address to send yours to.

If we actually get it. I see the leftards filing lawsuits to stop Trump from doing it and diverting the funds to the more deserving illegals and LBGQTZ's

I think economically the refunds are a bad idea.
But I also think politically they're necessary.
The tarrifs are a necessary tool to offset and discourage other countries taking advantage of us. But the average voter won't support them unless they see a direct personal benefit.
Well, they... the .gov is not going to use the money to lower the tax burden, or the debt; fuck it, give it to the people.

It can be considered a way to "lower the tax burden". If you would have paid 5k bucks in taxes, this year it is only 3k bucks.

lol... no shit, Sherlock. That doesn't make it any less disgusting, and it completely misses the point. The proper answer to a large landmass ruled by a concentration of population is to separate the two to ensure adequate representation of interests.
The reality is that upstate and downstate are more or less equally-sized populations, but downstate plus the upstate members of the Free Shit Army equals liberal domination of an entire populace. The founding fathers understood this to be a significant issue with a representative democracy, which is why they created the senate. New York liberals realized that a similar construct in this state would stymie their agenda, so we essentially have two houses (representation based on population) instead of a house and senate. If the NY senate representation was, say, two senators per county, we'd at least have some leverage in how this shithole is run.

you just couldn’t help yourself
I'm not wrong though. He could have just not put the dumb ass tariffs in place, then there would be no need to "refund" the tariff money he made you pay via higher product costs. He's a giant asshole, just like pretty much every politician.
Should have.
Could have.
Would have.
All irrelevant. The only thing that matters is what actually happens.

Has the Supreme Court decided the President does not have the power to impose tariffs? If not, I think it is quite premature to pronounce that he is an asshole for imposing them and he must refund them.
This has nothing to do with the supreme court. Trump's idea is to send out checks to Americans from the tariffs.
Tariffs just get passed on to the consumer. They are effectively just another tax.
He's an asshole for taking your money via tariffs, then trying to play the good guy by giving you your money back. Fuck off with that noise. If he was a good guy he wouldn't have taken your money in the first place. If I steal $100 out of your pocket, I don't get to give you the money back and make you thank me for it.

No tariffs = no jobs here..
Ignore the countries that put 200-300% on our goods?
I remember what it was like before Billy Clinton put global interest before ours.

Should have and would have, sure.
Could have? I dunno, NY has been dominated by liberals for as long as I can remember. Any exceptions - such as Pataki, or when Republicans controlled the NY Senate - seem to have just been RINOs.

Tarrifs are also a diplomatic tool, and that has always been thier primary purpose.
Revenue generation was always secondary.
That is why the head of state (POTUS) can impose them unilaterally, whereas Revenue based taxes are the purvue of congress.
If you want that to be explicitly clear, then tell congress to pass a law that 100% of tarrif revenue needs to be refunded.

It really pisses me off that Dr. Doom Fuaci hasn't been publicly hanged for all of his lies/corruption/propaganda.
Not only would I buy front row tickets for his hanging to death.
I'd volunteer to pull or push whatever it was to be pulled or pushed.
If I were fortunate enough to pull or push the whatever, I would want a recording of it.
You know, the whole "humble brag" type of thing.

Probably because the CIA was behind it all.
U.S. Spy Agencies Had Ties to Wuhan Scientists Years before 2020 Covid Pandemic Began
Sen. Rand Paul is asking U.S. Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard to release communications between the U.S. intelligence Community, and virologist Ralph Baric, Ph.D., Dr. Anthony Fauci and other public health officials.

"Had ties" is a nice way of saying the cia was fully aware and probably directed the research at the wuhan lab. It is generally assumed the intelligence agencies have information on every representative and senator. My guess is there has been quite a bit of "unofficial" communication between the CIA and congress letting them know the consequences of full disclosure. Hell, there may not need to be much communication. The 535 reps and senators know all about political survival. They know what questions not to ask.

We *know* Fauci was funding activities at Wuhan. That's officially acknowledged public information.Probably because the CIA was behind it all.

When you're providing the funding you have at least some measure of control.
This isnt even a probable supposition, it's a logical conclusion.
