Is that for the people who are left after all the big tech companies and the .gov dumped tens of thousands of employees?
My wages haven't gone up since I was hired in '23. in fact, right now I'm worried that I'm going to be laid off sometime in the 1st quarter as the company I work for finishes their promise of going from 83000 employees to 70000, even while they are receiving billions in investment from the .gov and other tech companies.

On top of that, what are they going to do about the 100 million people that live in states where we don't have to register anything.

Of course not everyone’s wages are up but that’s what the reporting is that wages are up. I agree mine haven’t gone up and my union already essentially told us no money for raises this contract. Our cost of living increases have not kept up with inflation since I was hired about 10 years ago. They keep saying they will get us a larger raise but it never happens.
I truly hope you do not get laid off. I think lean times are coming and with the cost of things it would be a bad time to lose a job.
They say wages are up 5% years over year and that’s above the inflation rate. I’d imagine it’s mainly people at the lower end of the pay scale and not people like you and I.

I think the trouble is prices haven’t come down. Did any reasonable person expect that to happen, no. Without it happening I’m not sure how the mid terms will go. Outside of that I’m not sure the few national elections the democrats won in 2025 spell doom as many are thinking either.
