Bundles of advertising money in a Kentucky Republican primary would make little difference, and likely not even fully erase the inherent message advantage held by an incumbent. Looking at the primary results, alot of advertising money was wasted and not needed in the campaign.
Excessive advertising can also backfire in conservative markets.
Both primary candidates got their message out and were well known by the voters. Unless there was voting fraud, the Republican primary voters chose their candidate based on the candidates' message and Massey's performance.

In the past her and deceased husband's political donations were predominately given to Democrats but of late her political donations have gone to Republican causes.
DJT and her have had a spat between each other after DJT learned she hired some never Trumpers to manage the new "DJT" PAC.
She is helping fund the Whitehouse Ballroom.
The Adelsen foundations spend about 200 million EVERY year on philanthropic causes (worldwide) and medical research that dwarf their historcal annual political donations.
Also 75% of her wealth is domestic (like the Sands Resorts and Dallas Mavericks) and 25% of her earnings are from foreign sources like the 40 acre resort includig cssinos and hotels in Singapore (not China) and the five smaller resorts in Macao (part of China).
But yeah, PACs spend way too much money and term limits would certainly help choke off much of the incentive for high spending by PACs, interest groups, oligarchs, businesses, and lobbyists. Cleaning up money laundering NGOs would also help clean up the swamp too.
Massie's got $0 from AIPAC, and his opponent, who refused to debate him... has gotten $9 million from AIPAC. No message out with that. Except rigged.

Made no difference. Massie lost by 10 points. In a larger turnout he even got 3000 few votes than in 2022.
Massie got almost 6 million from out of state PACs.

I will ask: is there one, single, credible example of Trump being a racist?
There's none that I'm aware of.
The Democrats think it's Okay to lie, not stretch the truth, not exaggerate, but straight up lie to the people because of Orange Man Bad or something. Democrat politicians are terrible trash people. It's right there for all to see, it's impossible to miss.
