I don’t think 18 year olds have much to do with F-35’s, but I get your drift.

Well one of my paintball team kids enlisted in the USAF at 17 and was working on F22s by the time he was 18.

Edit I thought he was a 35 mechanic turns out he is a 22 mechanic. He has been in 15 years now. Married his HS sweetheart and has two beautiful kids. Proud of that kid.

That is impressive, I more meant flying them at 18, but I guess fixing them is important as well.
