I'd actually buy more guns if they could be shipped right to my door. Not sure why they would have to add a mandatory waiting period though. That kind of ruins it for me.

In theory the waiting period is to give the local cops (who have to be notified) time to object.

Seems redundant with a NICS check, and also designed mostly to allow a pseudo registry.
