Talked to a buffalo cop the other day he said people have no idea how bad the crime is . He said one time police couldnt make it down the street because the gunfire was so heavy, ended up dragging a woman into car but she died right there.
This sounds like it could be a description of Fallujah just as easily as buffalo.
Weird how this doesn't happen in the suburbs and country.....
It seems it's always in specific neighborhoods.... When was the last time you heard of Elma having a rolling gun battle?
Even in the city these things rarely seem to happen in North or South Buffalo. They have crime but not violence like this.

Not even the suburbs. It's always the city and usually concentrated on specific neighborhoods or areas of the city.
Here are some crime stats for a fairly large suburb of buffalo, the town has a population of more than 60,000 people so by some definitions this is closer to a city than it is a town.
It's the demographics. It's always the demographics. The town of Hamburg is probably only 10-15 miles as the crow flies from where the literal Buffalo warzone was. Why doesn't Hamburg have a single murder?

Was listening to talk radio yesterday on my drive home from work.
Some pretty good and honest conversations from a local radio host.
A caller made a great metaphor that for generations black mothers choose to divorce their husbands and re-marry the government.
The destruction of the black family, removing the father from the household and depending upon the government for support has had devastating consequences. These problems didn't exist in the 50s and 60s because black fathers were there and they would not have let this behavior reach this point. Now it's turned into just a free for all and you have multiple generations of adults that do not understand responsibility, hardwork, being accountable and acceptable behavior.
IMO, This is all 100% on the Democrats destruction of the black family units.

That was our one and only crime committed with a gun. The killer drove up from Virginia to kill our local school superintendent over an online love triangle. So that doesn't really count. Our residents have lots of guns, but dont kill anyone....ever.
I said this before that ive seen fist fights where one or both of the combatants were currently carrying a handgun, the guns never come out.
Ok, there was one incident about 10 years ago where a guy was hitting on another guys girlfriend in a bar in Frewsburg NY. The boyfriend and 2 of his buddies brought the other guy out to the parking lot and beat his ass. The beaten guy got in his car, grabbed a handgun, and held the 3 beaters at bay while he escaped.
Those are the only 2 gun related crimes ive heard of in my 55 years. And in the bar fight the only crime was having a gun while drinking. I believe due to there being 3 guys on one, the firearm brandishing was justified. But we also dont call the cops over stupid shit. 25 people watched this go down, nobody called the cops...including the bar owner.
Of course there is poaching, and maybe the occasional brandishing over property disputes, but that's just country living, no injuries.
