To track individuals who don't have accounts or who actively clear their internet cookies, TikTok uses "fingerprinting". This aggregates minor, seemingly harmless technical details about your device (like time zone, screen resolution, defaults, and OS) to construct a highly specific digital signature unique to just you (similar to using DNA or your fingerprint).
