Free to good home : one pair of stereo speakers. These are labled as "Audio Reference liquid cooled studio monitors". In reality, they're "white van" speakers, but in all honesty they sound decent unless you're a true audiofile. Both are in excellent condition with no damage. Foam suspensions are in perfect condition. The enclosures contain a 12" woofer, a 5" mid and a 4" tweeter as well as attenuators for both mid and high frequencies. 125 watt program capacity, 98db efficiency, 8 ohm impedence, and a freq. response of 43 Hz to 25KHz.

Mitsubishi = 34½ H, 14½ W, 10¾ D
Audio Reference = 27½ H, 15 W, 12½ D
The Mitsubishi have a 12" woofer, 5" mid, and 4" tweeter. Listed as having a frequency response of 38 ~ 20KHz and handling 150 Watts. No sensitivity rating is stated. I installed ¼ phone jacks in them years ago, but the spring terminals are still hooked up, so you can use either.
Which pair sound better ? In all honesty, they're both pretty similar. I think the Audio Reference are a bit easier to drive. Both are of course MDF cabinets with a vinyl oak woodgrain appearance. Both have black fabric grilles with no damage.

I would have enjoyed that. Unfortunately either set is a bit big for the room that I had in mind for them damn it, I was really interested in those Mitsubishi speakers. Someone is going to get a very nice set of speakers!
